Prof. Dr. Cihan Uras is one of Turkey's most established surgeons, with over 39 years of experience in general surgery. A graduate of Trakya University (1981), he completed his specialisation at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, was appointed Associate Professor in 1990 and Professor in 1996. He served as President of the Breast Science Society from 2009 to 2011 and practises breast, thyroid, parathyroid and bariatric surgery using laparoscopic, endoscopic and robotic techniques at Acıbadem Maslak and Atakent hospitals.
