Prof. Dr. Ahmet Alanay is one of the most distinguished spinal surgeons in Turkey and Europe. He served as the 25th President of Eurospine (the European Spine Society) and is the first surgeon in Europe to have performed Vertebral Body Tethering. A graduate of Ankara University, Prof. Alanay completed his specialisation at Hacettepe, his spine fellowship at the University of Kansas, and served as a Visiting Professor at UCLA. He performs over 200 operations and more than 2,500 outpatient consultations annually at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital. Consultations are available in Turkish, English and Arabic.
